Coffee Addict Etiquette

There is a disturbing trend in some of the coffee shops I frequent. It seems that those un-used to the etiquette of coffee shops have taken up resting an elbow and having a conversation on the holy shrine on which each cup of coffee is delivered in any coffee shop. Thier talk of SUVs, small dogs, and ex-spouses is an unwelcomed source of pre-coffee depression as we reach in for that first cup. In return they give the rightful owner of the coffee dispensed a dirty look and an awkward lean out of the way.
